Human Empowerment: A concept evolving in World

Human empowerment continues to grapple in World as several sections of the society stay gripped in the bonds of traditions, socio-cultural norms, and poverty. Not only are they cut off from the advancements of the metropolitan cities but are entirely unaware of this progress or why they even need them in the first place. To feel empowered and have a sense of authority is still a novel experience for many underprivileged regions of the world. The stronghold of traditions and patriarchal ideals have pushed these sections into a cage that they are too scared to venture out of. In some communities, empowerment is looked down upon, especially for women and girls. However, men and society as a whole have faced the brunt due to lack of sense of authority, education, self-sufficiency, and self-determination.

What is Human Empowerment?

Human empowerment is awakening the sense of authority in people to progress and represent their interests in a responsible way. No man is different when it comes to playing their role in society. However, what the underprivileged lack is a sense of self-reliability and power to carry out their interest with determination.

The United Nations has been a forerunner of human empowerment around the world by spreading awareness about the protection of human rights, promoting job creations, improving access to sanitation, healthcare, and education to the people. Every individual deserves to live a secure and dignified life. The Serving Smile is running various campaigns to spread awareness of human rights and dignified living amongst the underprivileged sections of the society. Also, empowerment and development go hand in hand. Only if the people are empowered, the nation will progress towards development. The children of the country need to be given access to better education, food, and healthcare to learn and comprehend the tricks and trades of the world. The lack of healthcare, sanitation, and medical facilities too have crippled these societies into backward classes. All they need is a platform and power to harness knowledge about their rights that will help them evolve in their life.

How is Human Empowerment carving a new World?

At present, World is focusing on empowering the youth to achieve sustainable development in the country and Serving Smile has introduced several campaigns for youth empowerment, education of the children, clean planet, and various other medical and sanitary movements to support the needy. More and more volunteers are coming forward, joining us, to educate the oppressed and underprivileged groups of their rights to help them learn and stand at par with urban regions. Women are being encouraged to break the social barriers to educate themselves, to have an aspiration, and to use their talent to make a living.

Human empowerment has also paved for gender equality in both rural and urban regions. Though gradual, autonomy is thriving in the nation, as several philanthropists and social workers are scouting out communities and empowering them. Though the flames of human empowerment were ignited long ago, now Serving Smile has taken a pledge to come forward, work together and up-grade the socio-economic status of the country in the near future.
